Saskatchewan has laws on minimum standards offered to all salaried persons in the province. 

Here is a guide which summarizes the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees in Saskatchewan. 

The Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board is an independent body created to administer a compensation system on behalf of workers and employers. The WCB is financially independent of government and special-interest groups. Workers' compensation is a no-fault system that protects employers and workers against the result of work injuries.

The Guide for New Workers is part of the Ready for Work series of education and training resources. Ready for Work focuses on helping new or young workers make a successful transition to work.

It's the law: if you are under 16 years of age and want to work in Saskatchewan, you must now take the Young Worker Readiness Certificate Course (YWRCC). All materials for this course are available on line.
